Brunel University London is pleased to announce that we will be reimbursing the entire £1750 for our students coming from red list countries. To help with your travel plans, we will be funding the cost of the managed quarantine hotel and test package.
To help with your travel plans, we will be funding the cost of the managed quarantine hotel and test package for all new and returning students in September 2021. Currently, if you have travelled from or through a red list country in the 10 days prior to arriving in the UK, you must:
- Quarantine for 10 days in a managed quarantine hotel in the UK (the day you arrive in England counts as day 0) and,
- Take a Covid-19 test on or before day 2, and on or after day 8 of quarantine.
The cost of the hotel quarantine and Covid-19 test package is £1,750 which you will need to pay prior to arriving in the UK. To find out more about which countries are on the red list, the hotel quarantine process, and how to make a booking, please visit the UK Government website.
To be reimbursed £1,750 for the quarantine package, you will be required to complete an online form once you arrive at Brunel.
If you are travelling from or through a red list country, we recommend that you arrive in the UK by 1 September 2021. This will allow you to complete the 10-day quarantine before arriving at Brunel ready to join our Transition Week and Welcome Week.
